Dee’s Throw is made using bulky yarn and a larger hook and will work up quickly. This pattern is ideal for any bulky yarn including the new Caron Anniversary Cakes.

Materials
Size L/8.0 mm hook
30 ounces Bulky (#6) yarn
Notes
Beg ch 3 counts as a dc
Beg ch 2 counts as a hdc
Beg ch 1 does not count as a sc
V stitch – dc, ch 1, dc
On V-st repeating rows, the v-stitches are made in the ch-1 space of the v-stitches from the previous row.
Finished throw measures approx. 36-inches by 50-inches

Row. 1. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and sc across ch and turn (82 sc)
Row 2. Ch 1, sc across and turn
Row 3 – 4. Repeat row 2
Row 5. Ch 3, dc in next sc and dc across and turn
Row 6. Ch 3 and dc in next dc. Sk 1 st, v-st in next dc. *sk 2 st, v-s in next dc. Repeat from * 25 times. Sk 1 dc, dc in last 2 dc. Turn
Rows 7 – 10. Repeat row 6
Row 11. Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc and ch-1 sp across. Turn
Row 12. Ch 2, hdc in next dc and hdc across. Turn
Row 13. Ch 3, dc in next hdc. Dc across in each hdc. Turn
Rows 14 – 18. Repeat Row 6
Rows 19 – 21. Repeat rows 11 – 13
Rows 22 – 26. Repeat row 6.
Rows 27 – 29. Repeat rows 11 – 13
Rows 30 – 34. Repeat row 6.
