And I'm slow myself – just saw your comment (bad me). Thank you for the comment and I agree, we do make a good collaborative team (not just good, great is more like it!). I've only really gotten going with the blog and tend to it when I have the time – which I'm trying to make more of (time that is).
One of our group member's at Warmth for Warriors just used this pattern for a lapghan. It turned out so lovely and I just downloaded the pattern to my Ravelry Library. Thank you for sharing your granny pattern and making it available free.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am so happy to hear that the pattern was used for such a wonderful cause and group! I am also happy to share this pattern and my others.
I want to thank Doug for his kindness in posting this for me. He was the first person to complete the project and it's just beautiful work. NOTE: the four hearts are his own design!
You're very welcome Dee and I am very happy to be able to do this and help. This CAL is a fun one to do and want to make sure that it is available to everyone who wants to participate. I hope others have as much fun with this one as I have had.
Thank you so much Lyn! This was an enjoyable design to do and has been very popular. I like using materials that are easy to use and with these kinds of designs, the maker is able to adjust the weight of the yarn for their own liking and purposes.
Doug I am so thankful to have you as a friend. I sometimes have difficulty finding the words to say thank you for the kindness shown me. My heart is so full the words come out in a flood. I am still deeply touched by this blog post. I know I’m very late with my “thank-you” for which I apologize. Know that you are appreciated.
Hi Lyn, I am also thankful to have you as a friend and for you kindness and friendship. I count you and your family as part of my circle of close friends and family. No need for apologies on the “lateness” of your response to my post. I’m often “guilty” of responding late myself as life sometimes seems to get so busy with other things and goings on.
Thank you for this beautiful afghan. Do you have the number count for the round with just double crochet? Round 11 and 12. When I start with 13, I seem to be of. I was wondering if I was doing round and 11 and 12 correctly. Thanks so much. Tammy
Why amd I just now finding out you have this blog!!! This is great!! And thank you for mentioning me!!! We make a good collaboration team!!!

You’re welcome! So happy to share the FB group on here. Thank you on the patterns.
Is there a way you can change the group name please. We are now: Dee & Mandee’s Crochet World.
Hi Dee – edits have been made in/on the post.
Hi Dee – I’ve made the changes in the post
Beautiful!
